Ex-Deutsche Bank Deputy Head of Asia Research and Head of India Research, with 23 years of research experience. As Deputy Head of Asia Research, Mohan was responsible for working with DB’s joint venture partners in Thailand, Malaysia, and India. Prior to his stint as Deputy Head of Asia Research, Mohan was Head of Singapore Research for DB covering the property and conglomerate sectors. Prior to joining DB, Mohan worked at Lehman Brothers covering the conglomerate and infrastructure sectors for South Asia and headed its India effort.

Paul oversees the Quantitative Services business unit and was deeply involved with the foundation and expansion of Amba Research in India. Prior to that, Paul was Chief Economist Asia (ex-Japan) at Nomura, Regional Financial Economist at Lehman Brothers, and a visiting Professor of Finance at IIM, Bangalore. Paul has over 22 years of experience in capital markets on both the research and trading sides.

Priti has over 22 years of experience in the IT and KPO/BPO industries, having run captive and third-party BPO operations of major banks and financial institutions employing over 2,300 FTEs. Prior to Amba Research, she was Head of BPO Operations at MphasiS, an EDS-HP company, and Director of EDS's Global Sales Support KPO, where she received a Global Award for Leadership Excellence. She has also held leadership positions at Siemens, Satyam Infoway, and Aptech Consulting. Priti holds an MBA from NMIMS, Mumbai.

Bala is responsible for Amba’s global business development, marketing, and strategic alliances. Prior to Amba Research, Bala was Senior Vice President, Product Marketing, and a member of the executive team at Vistaar Technologies (Parsippany, NJ). Bala has over 18 years of experience and a track record of leadership in taking solutions to market and building high-performance teams. Bala was previously an equity analyst and partner at Pacific Growth Equities, a San Francisco-based investment bank, where he covered the technology sector.

Hari oversees Amba’s human resources function. He has over 24 years of experience in HR, project management, and corporate planning. Prior to Amba Research, Hari was Senior Vice President and Global Head of Human Resources at Virtusa. Earlier, he was VP Strategic HR at IBM-Daksh. Hari started his career at Tata Steel where he played vital roles in HR, project management, corporate planning, and design engineering and was successful in driving several company-wide initiatives.

Sanjay heads Amba’s global finance function. Prior to Amba, he was Vice President, Finance at GE Capital Services, India, where he was responsible for financial planning and analysis for GE‘s Commercial Finance business. Sanjay has over 17 years of experience and has held various leadership roles in the areas of controllership, management accounting, taxation, and treasury management. He has also worked for global Fortune 100 companies like Pepsi and American Express.

Sunita Jagtiani is the General Counsel and oversees Amba’s Legal and Compliance Function. A lawyer and company secretary by qualification, Sunita has over 20 years of experience in supporting legal and compliance functions in a number of companies, across industries. Prior to joining Amba, Sunita was with Wipro, ACS, SAP (Asia and India).

Sridhar heads the global IT and ISMS teams at Amba Research. He has over 25 years of experience in information technology and was responsible for setting up and managing the information technology infrastructure for 1,600+ support staff during his 11 years at Thomson Corporation in India. Sridhar is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), and holds an MBA, a Diploma in Telecommunications Engineering, and a Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management awarded by the British Computer Society. He is a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) by the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA).

Chanakya has been with Amba since its inception in 2003 and is currently responsible for all aspects of research delivery and client relationship management for engagements serviced out of the Colombo delivery center.
Chanakya also leads strategic initiatives at Amba, working very closely with the Amba Senior Leadership team in seeking, evaluating, and overseeing the implementation of new ideas. Previously at Amba, Chanakya was the Global Head of the Projects and Transitions team that manages new equity and fixed income analysis engagements. He has also supervised sell-side equity sector coverage teams, credit research teams, and buy-side/hedge fund teams at Amba. Chanakya has sector coverage experience in Financial Institutions and Telecommunications. He is a CFA charter holder, an Associate Member of CIMA (UK), and a Fellow Member of ACCA (UK).

John is responsible for business development and sales in North America within global asset management and brokerage firms. Previously, John was Chief Compliance Officer and CFO for Princeton Securities group in New York. Prior to this, he ran SunGard’s listed execution business on the floor of the NYSE for 10 years, calling on buy-side and sell-side firms. He was also a sales, branch, and district manager for Unisys Corp. in New York for 18 years, selling technology solutions to financial institutions. He holds an MBA and Series 7, 9, 14, 24, 27, and 63 securities licenses.

Miriam is the Country Head of Amba Research, Costa Rica. She has over 10 years of work experience in finance, management consulting, strategy and economic and sell-side research. Prior to join Amba, Miriam worked at Banco Del Caribe in Venezuela leading the Strategy and Economic Research department. She also conducted consultancy work in strategy, economics and finance in various Latin American countries like Venezuela, Ecuador and Costa Rica. Miriam is a CFA charter holder, holds an MBA in Finance and Economics from INCAE. and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Universidad Católica Andrés Bello in Venezuela.

Ravi is responsible for Amba Research’s global marketing and product management function. Ravi has over 16 years’ experience in sell-side equity research, private equity, merchant banking, and investment analysis. Prior to joining Amba, he worked at iGATE Global Solutions as a Senior Principal and as a Senior Analyst at TAIB Capital Corporation. Ravi started his career as an Equity Research Analyst with the JM Financial group, India. He holds an MBA (Finance) from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, India, and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, India.

Johan is responsible for business development and sales in Europe and has been with Amba since 2005. He has over 15 years of business development and research experience in equities and fixed income, alternative investments and financial software. Prior to joining Amba, Johan worked for Bearing Consulting in advisory roles for European private banks and alternative investment managers. Previously, he was Head of Research for Brunswick Emerging Markets. Johan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Uppsala University, Sweden, and a Master’s degree in Economics and Econometrics from Panthéon-Assas, Paris, France. He is also a graduate of Ecole des Cambistes, Paris.

Chaminda oversees delivery of the equities and credit business in Amba Research India and has been with Amba for over eight years. In total he has over 11 years of experience in the Investment and Finance Industry. Prior to taking on his current role, Chaminda very successfully played the role of Global Delivery Manager for a large sell side enterprise account in Amba. He has also successfully managed several other enterprise clients of Amba. Chaminda has been extremely execution-focused, with an ability to balance people, profitability, and the customer. Prior to joining Amba he worked at MAS Holding Limited (Sri Lanka) and National Mercantile Bank (Sri Lanka). He is a CFA charterholder and holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate and Law from California State University in USA.

Madhusoodanan leads the quantitative services delivery team in India, in addition to being the engagement manager for a large buy-side client. He also has played a critical role in developing and implementing training programs in both Equities and Quants in Amba. Prior to joining Amba, Madhu was a Professor of Finance at IFMR, Chennai and worked with Reserve Bank of India, UTI Institute of Capital Markets, Mumbai. Madhu has over 24 years of overall experience and brings an enviable depth and breadth of expertise across diverse specialist domains straddling the spectrum of capital markets.

Prashant oversees the Controlling, Treasury, Financial Planning and Analysis and taxation functions within the Finance Department. A Chartered Accountant by Qualification, Prashant has over 14 years of experience in Finance function. His experience encompasses Audit, Controlling, Taxation, Treasury, Financial Planning and Analysis and ERP Implementation. Prior to joining Amba, he has worked with Essilor, Givaudan, PriceWaterhouse and Tata Motors.
