Mohan is a Co-Founder & Managing Director and oversees the firm’s India operations and is the global relationship manager to one of Amba’s largest clients. Clients benefit from Mohan’s 19 years of experience at top institutions where he supervised research analysts.

Before co-founding Amba Research, Mohan was Deputy Head of Asia Research and Head of India Research at Deutsche Bank. As Deputy Head of Research, Mohan was responsible for working with Deutsche Bank's JV partners in Thailand, Malaysia, and India.

Before becoming Deutsche Bank's Deputy Research Head of Asia, Mohan was first Head of India and then Singapore Equity Research. Prior to joining Deutsche Bank in 1997, Mohan was Director of Equity Research India for Lehman. Mohan began his research career with James Capel in Mumbai in 1992. As an analyst, Mohan has covered the property, industrial, metals, and financial sectors.

Mohan started his career as a credit analyst at a finance company in India, and subsequently worked in the financial services industry in the US. He is a graduate of Pune University and holds both MBA and MS Finance degrees from US universities.
