Johan is a Director of Institutional Sales for Amba Research where he focuses on business development and sales in continental Europe and the Nordics, as well as to UK-based hedge funds. Johan has 10 years of financial industry experience from various roles in equities research, alternative investments and financial software in Europe.

Prior to joining Amba Research, he worked within the Brunswick Group, initially managing the firm’s sell-side research efforts on 30 emerging equity markets. He later headed hedge fund product development and sales for Brunswick Capital Management.

Johan started his career as an economist for CCF Capital Management in Paris and then led French financial information house Fininfo Group's equity-linked derivatives product development.

Johan holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Uppsala, Sweden, and an MSc in Economics and Econometrics from Université Panthéon-Assas, Paris. He is also a graduate of Ecole des Cambistes, Paris. Johan is fluent in Swedish, English, French, Spanish and speaks basic Sinhalese.
