Ex-BCT Bank International Investment Banking Manager, with over 10 years of experience in the finance industry in the US and Costa Rica.

In his capacity as Investment Banking Manager during 2002-2006, he was responsible for the entire process of companies' transaction sales. He also developed and executed financial strategies for customers, creating financial models aimed at defining shareholder capital investment, loan financing and internal rate of return. He was a key executive in creating and establishing the bank's investment banking department.

Prior to working for BCT Bank, he was Chief Financial Officer in the venture capital firm Principal Group Investments. There, he managed a $3m portfolio investment focused on financial re-structuring, scenario modeling pertaining to future capital rounds on the invested companies, and exit strategies.

He started his financial career as a financial analyst with Syratech Corporation in Boston, where he worked in conjunction with an investment bank in a leverage buy out transaction. After working two years in Boston, he was promoted to Financial Controller of the company's main distribution center in Los Angeles, California.

Armando has an MBA, majoring in Finance, from the Instituto Centroamericano de Administracion de Empresas (INCAE), Costa Rica, and a Bachelors in Industrial Engineering from Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM), Mexico.
