George T. Schepp
Managing Director, Head of US Sales, George has over 20 years of sales experience with 15 years of sales management experience which involves the implementation of formal sales processes and the development of corporate sales forces to penetrate niche financial markets. He was most recently the Managing Director Sales and Marketing at Emcon Associates, Inc. Prior to that, he was the Senior Vice President of Sales at Edgar Online, Inc. where he orchestrated the reorganization of business models for a leading provider of business, financial and market data for more than 15,000 US public companies. During 1997-2001, as Vice President of Sales/ Tactical Marketing he oversaw 75 sales professionals and a sales volume of over $380m at Insurance Services Office, an information provider to the property/ casualty industry. He spent seven years at Standard & Poor's Credit Ratings Group during 1990-1997, in various sales capacities including VP Global Sales and Service. He began his career at Merrill Lynch as a sales executive in 1985. George holds a BS in business administration from Mount St. Mary's College in Maryland.
