Amba Research supplies full-time accounting and valuation trained analysts providing a range of equity research support services to sell-side firms, buy-side institutions and hedge funds. Clients also use analysts on shorter term projects.

New recruits to Amba Research are put through a rigorous training course focused on fundamental company analysis, valuation, modeling and report writing prior to being placed on an assignment. Unlike less specialized firms, Amba’s managers have decades of experience training analysts at international financial institutions.

Equity research services provided by Amba Research analysts include:

• Model building and valuation services
  Services range from model maintenance or updating: building new forecast models based on consensus or proprietary estimates; and relative and absolute valuation and sensitivity analysis.
  

• Report writing assistance
  Amba analysts can produce results previews and notes; sections of company and sector reports; competitive and industry analysis; coverage pre-initiation notes; and marketing presentations.
  

• Other services
  Amba provides a range of more technical investment analysis services from maintenance of sector valuations and operational statistics databases; quality of earnings calibration; current accounting analysis and impact of changes in accounting standards to event driven analysis.
