Due to increasing demand, Amba offices in Bangalore, Colombo and San José are looking to hire highly qualified, motivated and team-spirited financial industry professionals as Associate Vice Presidents (AVP) and Analysts for the following two areas.

• Investment research
• Quantitative research

Investment Research

Investment Research duties include:

• Write investment research reports
• Build and maintain sophisticated models to forecast financial results of international companies
• Persuasively articulate investment ideas to clients
• Undertake special projects requiring Internet and screen-based research

Your qualifications should include:

• A demonstrated record of high academic and professional achievement.
  The minimum requirement is a bachelors degree or an equivalent professional qualification in Business, Accounting, Finance or Economics.
  
• Strong financial statement analysis skills
• Fluency in written and spoken English, including report writing skills
• Strong Excel modeling skills
• At least three years experience at executive level (for AVP candidates only)

Preference will be given for individuals possessing:

• Strong skills in stock valuation methods
• Experience in analysing industry structures and bases of competition
• MBA holders, candidates working towards the CFA charter, or holders of other finance-related post-graduate qualifications

Selected candidates will receive comprehensive financial analyst training from senior international Investment Professionals along with the opportunity to work with some of the finest analysts in the world.

Candidates should be willing to be posted abroad if necessary for 4-8 weeks for on-site training with our clients.

Quantitative Research

In addition, we have openings for Quantitative Analysts / AVPs who have specific skills/aptitude for computer programming, statistical analysis and mathematical modeling areas. For such people knowledge and qualifications in financial field is not mandatory but preferable.
